I’m grateful for 171 mornings in a row not hungover.
170 days without a drink.
My future being sober.
Knowing, on the days I’d really like a drink, and there have been many, that I would have more than 1 or 2 or 6 or 10 and end up passed out on the couch with a big headache in store the next morning.
Knowing it’s really not worth it.
Knowing I can’t have “just one”.
Believing I can’t have “just one”.
Why would anyone have “just one?”
Grateful I’ll never again say “I got to go!” “Just one more!”
Grateful to know How stupid was that?
Just grateful for my new sober life.

2 I’m greatful I have my dad especially as it’s fathers day
3 I’m greatful i can help my daughter through her first broken heart !

5 I’m greatful I have my partner off work today
6 I’m greatful I am cooking a roast dinner for my family
7 I’m greatful for my doggy walks with teddy

Grateful to be a Father.
First Fathers Day sober. I assume.
Grateful for an attitude of gratitude because I know it starts my day off on the right foot.
Grateful I got up too early on Fathers Day and really enjoyed the extra quiet time with devotionals God and cat on the lap.
Grateful both my grown up children are clean or sober and all I learned from their recovery.
Grateful that both my children have been in recovery so long I no longer think the “shoe could drop” anytime.

I too am grateful for my little home that I love.
And that my adult children live nearby so I see them often and my grand kids.
I have a job, with rotten coworkers, but I have a job. And to learn its a big trigger of mine dealing with coworkers.

My after dinner, tv time, snuggling cat Maverick.
How do I make this not sound weird? My shower time with Beatrix. We have a cat window perch right by the shower and B runs up to it when I come in to take a shower. And she squirms and meeps and begs for pets.
Grateful for my little buddy Benson who waits by the garage door until we come home, whenever we go out.
And grateful for my old girl Minnie. She’s getting a little doggie dementia but she still loves her walks and comes to bed with me every night and is just so sweet and adorable.
Grateful the six of them look so lovingly at me in the morning. I know they just want breakfast
