Since I’m already typing now I’ll go ahead and throw some gratitude out there first thing this morning:
I’m grateful we finally got power turned back on in the clubhouse for the baseball team, which also means I got my office back and can move all my stuff back over to the field from the house
I’m grateful my mini fridge in said office still works and I loaded it up with Diet Coke and waters yesterday cause Coach always needs to stay hydrated lol ![]()
I’m grateful for sweets early in sobriety, they really do help when you just need something in your system for a quick boost. Sugar has its own problems, but it sure beats the hell out of waking up hungover and feeling worthless
I’m grateful that I’m a given week in this city there’s over 700 meetings so when I couldn’t make mine yesterday I have another one to go to today recommended by my sponsor
I’m grateful for the animals who see it as their personal duty to wake me up before the alarm clock

I’m grateful for 2months. I’m grateful to be alive and to be of use to someone. I’m grateful for that I don’t have to bring suffering to others longer and I’m grateful for the connection to higher power . Most of all I am grateful for you guys for being there. Without you I would not have any power in my life. Thank you for being on the path of light and compassion. Greetings from Iceland
love this and great to see your name pop up ![]()
@Jwfletcher4792 Congratulations on the job offer - I agree with your wife. Even if you don’t want it - it is nice to know you got that option
Oh this is lovely news. So very happy for him.
Glad your daughter also has a job lined up right away!
@Darthinn Well done on your 2 months - keep the days stacking up

I am so very grateful today …
I capped my swim at 1 hour and got ready for my walk / row. Found out that we were short staffed and I was needed immediately.
I was able to get to work on time and open up without too much hassle. Seemed like everything that could go wrong did… the door handle broke in my hand, the cd player would not work, the boxes for recycling all toppled over, the orders for all the apps and the phone orders all came in at once - smashed my fingers in the door jam, hit my elbow hard, etc…Yeah I was getting hit all around but I survived it. I stayed positive and smiled through it
My mom sent lunch for me that I was able to eat. Grateful I was able to take it home to heat up and enjoy with a 1/2 hour break before my shift at the other location.
My Higher Power, My faith, My ability to find the positives these days, My family, My peace and serenity (even when I feel like I am as fragile as a eggshell.
This beautiful community and all of the love and support I receive here
Wishing everyone a wonderful addiction free day - sending you all so much love

Went to my first big meeting tonight, the other ones I’ve been to were grapevine discussions so kind of smaller. But, grateful to have my newcomers coin
met some good folks and heard a great share from the speaker tonight.
I’m grateful to be back home in bed.
I’m grateful, maybe a bit dumb, but made an appointment at the urgent care for tomorrow at 2 for some look and my cut finger. Not sure they can stitch it up after 24 hours but at least someone can look at it.
I’m grateful for another good nights sleep last night. 9 hours
I told you I was tired. I’m grateful I didn’t freak out when it was 8 and I was just waking. I’m grateful I got everything done chore wise when I got it done. I’m grateful there’s one thing about chores you can count on. They’ll always be there for ya.
I’m grateful the Old Timer With Cheese we both got at Chili’s, on my wife’s suggestion, was just what we needed and delicious for dinner tonight.
I’m grateful I still got a nap in today.
I’m grateful for much cooler evenings and mornings between the heat of the day.
I’m grateful for my wife and cats and dogs. My immediate family.
I’m grateful for my children and spouses and grandchildren.
I’m grateful for my recoveries.
I’m grateful for TS.
Nite nite ![]()
Thursday morning gratitude.
I’m grateful I’m in busy autumn mode. Fumbling around from before dusk until after dawn ![]()
I’m grateful I’m not much online, there is so much I like to tackle IRL. And geeeeeeezzzz I proceed with all the tasks and home tidying / decluttering projects!
I’m grateful for my shrink. Yesterday’s appointment was very helpful. We crosschecked where I am emotionally and lifewise, talked through handling my summer depression episodes, I got valid feedback that I am still on the right way and doing the next right thing, also that I am enjoying my life and cherish what I achieved
For me such crosscheck is important to compare my own perception of how life is going to an expert’s view how he sees it. Without this tool I would not have been able to change and rediscover a solid reality based perception of myself and my life in the last years. I’m grateful for this and I’m grateful I expressed my gratitude to him yesterday ![]()
Super grateful and excited that a friend will visit today, I already cooked yesterday.
I’m grateful making jam proceeds. I struggle with the unloved preparation work this season. As with finishing other tasks I don’t like. I’m grateful I went back to basics and don’t allow me to start new tasks before the open ones are finished. I’m grateful I thus get better in chaos prevention. Progress not perfection ![]()
I’m grateful this ![]()

is a major tool in my recovery work this year and I got better in staying on track avoiding overwhelm and triggers like clutter & chaos.
I’m grateful I’m sober as fuck from alcohol and codependent behaviour / patterns / thinking and emotional imbalance. I’m grateful my recovery work on disordered eating slowly proceed. Here too: progress over perfection.
I’m grateful for my lovely zoo, friends, neighbours, modern amenities, support, caring people, being of help, a home where I feel safe & secure, tea, cozy everything and taking good care of myself.

Good Morning Sober Fam!
I’m grateful for the coffee thread, because my new morning routine is to walk downstairs and make my coffee so I can enjoy it while getting ready for work instead of when I walk downstairs for breakfast and the coffee thread is always my first read
because my friends @JazzyS @Dazercat @Cocojanie13
I’m grateful for day 18 today and that I got my newcomers coin last night. Being a veteran, coins were a big thing in service so I really like the idea that AA has them for the opposite purpose because coins in the military are challenge coins for drinks at the bar, although I never actually used mine for that purpose lol I just collected them.
I’m grateful for my trainer who gave me a tough workout yesterday.
I’m grateful we had a good team meeting for baseball and did some more cleaning at the clubhouse after conditioning workouts.
