Things I am grateful for today:

  • An understanding boss
  • The time and space to practice advocating for myself.
  • Actually being able to feel my feelings, just as they are.
  • The knowledge that my body has been telling me what I need. I’m only now listening to it.

Monday afternoon gratitude.
Today I’m grateful my car got the annual checkup and is ok. I’m grateful and happy that I went cloths shopping while waiting for it, now it’s proven on the labels: I’m down 2 sizes from my maximum weight (no clue how much I weight, haven’t seen my scale for months). I’m grateful I found nice replacements for worn out cloths and 2 lovely pieces for summer.

I’m grateful for my furballs, life is filled with love, purrs, snores, cuddles. And petchores, furtsunami, dirt, mischief and fun. Today I love my pets more than usual if this is possible.

I’m grateful I filed the outstanding tax for my late mum. Holy Bürokratius watches over this country.

I’m grateful I did some fumbling around the house in the morning. I got a nagging headache an hour ago and need to rest. Miss Marple tries to purr it away :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’m grateful I live alone, I couldn’t stand anyone human beside me today, I feel worn out and tired, I am hungry, I see tons of work and can’t do shit. Bad combo, very bad combo :see_no_evil_monkey: I’m grateful this too shall pass.

Good evening, it’s been a minute since I have posted here. I was taught in early recovery that when things get tough in life to go back to the basics… so here I am.

I am grateful for the beautiful trip I got home from a couple of weeks ago. For the simple way of living, the deep spirituality, and the fresh perspective I witnessed.

I am grateful for my health, for my family’s health, for my sweet old dog.

I am grateful that I have enough and that I am slowly becoming able to remind myself of that when the sick parts of me try to fill holes with material things.

I am grateful for growth, and that it’s a slooooooow going process. There’s no sprinting here friends. This is truly not a race.

I am grateful to have been asked to be of service at the convention in town next weekend.

I am grateful to see myself, see my behaviours, my patterns.
I am grateful that this thread is on it’s 10th turn-over. Pretty sweet.

Today I’m grateful for:

  1. My sobriety
  2. Being done with TMS after a long 6 weeks
  3. My therapist having my best interest in mind when she makes recommendations. We split for a bit due to some miscommunications/recommendations coming from a confusing place and I’m grateful we fixed it.
  4. The possibility of fixing things with my friend. I said I need more from him, he said he wants that too. It remains to be seen whether he’ll show up in the way he used to, but the intentions seem to be there. I’m hopeful.
  5. Having a husband who loves to cook and is good at it
  6. Snuggles with my pup on a quiet day off
  7. My houseplants
  8. Caffeine
  9. My silly cat, who keeps knocking over my houseplants in the name of playing
  10. Sleeping pills
  11. Coworkers who I get along with
  12. Not being the boss at work anymore
  13. My book that I’m reading. It isn’t my first or second time but it hits just as strong every time.
  14. Horror films
  15. You lovely people
