Cubbies and Diamondbacks will be tight down the stretch. Tonight’s loss will probably put the Phils 5 games out of the wildcard with 20 or so to play. They’re just rolling over against the teams they need to beat down the stretch. Its enough to drive a guy to binge-eat ice cream!!!

Good morning! Yesterday was a bit rough as little man poked or scratched his eye early morning. I ended up keeping him home. Started to get worried and planned on bringing him in to emerge. In case he needed antibiotic drops. (Which he is terrified of; he had eye surgery before he was 2). Seems better this morning but I’ll keep an eye out (no pun intended lol). He was up calling for me at 5am but no tears so up I went for snuggles. Always worrying, I am! Happy sober Saturday my peeps.

lol, we are gluttons for punishment that’s for sure! If the cubbies aren’t in contention, I would certainly root for the Tribe 
though you have a long way to go to reach our 108 year drought!
1948 + 108 = 2052. While I do plan to be still on the planet then, I’d like to see it sooner!

I will root for a WS win for the Tribe! That cold and rainy day in Oct. 2016 almost seemed like a Divine intervention for Cubs fans. The rain delay, the rally, all of it was so surreal. Then a 108 year old curse was lifted…
