Have you watched The Good Place?
Itās very funny and just kinda leaves you in a good mood.
Love Ted Danson!!
My Daughter Freya is watching that. She seems to be enjoying it.
" Just roll him around on the floor a little, hell be alright"
I enjoyed it but did find it terribly violent & gory and watched much of it hiding behind my phone (usually surging this forum while hubby watched intently lol). Although not to be shallow, I didnāt mind looking at Uhtred I think Iāve watched most of the āusualā Netflix popular shows (and we donāt have as large of a selection with Canadian Netflix). Iāve done the Wentworth, OITNB, Animal Kingdom, Outlander, Breaking Bad to name a few. Started one called Unbelievable at recommendation of of coworker.
Iāll check if itās on our Canadian Netflix. I have Crave too (no cable lol). Hubby isnāt fussy on comedy or feel good stuff but I feel like I should get my turn at a show choice that doesnāt involve zombies or dismemberment . Thanks for advice! Iāll check it out
Oh, I guess Last Kingdom is that way, haha. I donāt find I notice that kind of thing much, which is good and bad.
I loved Wentworth! Great character development that. Liked the intrigue in Animal Kingdom but less so the themes. But thereās something about the main characterās journey to adapt to his environment that interested me. Havenāt seen those other ones, though.
( waves from BC)
I really liked Limitless. I think itās just decent overall, but for me there are a lot of personal, specific things that make it a lot more enjoyable for me. Like, the protagonist is so me and so anti-me at the same time, so I identify a lot, which makes it more interesting. Itās decent for relaxing too, because though itās a plot-driven (sort of crime) drama, itās got comedy woven throughout because of the protagonistās personality. 2 seasons total. I think thereās only like 7 instances of alcohol appearing, across the whole series, which is really not bad for a TV show.
I thought you were in BC, thus thinking you would be on Canadian Netflix too but wasnāt sure if you could access American if closer to border. Iām jealous youāre near St Jeans cannery on that coast. Iāve ordered their smoked mussels & oysters as theyāre the only non-China ones I can find!! (No offence to China but I prefer as local as possible) .
Yeah I canāt access it. Maybe with a VPN, but that would be against Netflixās Terms of Service.
Maybe I can wave as your mussels and oysters pass by on the highway or the train! Kind of funny taking that perspective, Nanaimo doesnāt feel close, being a 6 hour trip, but in Canada-scoped terms thatās almost next door!
Been home for a few days now but contractors were still coming and going for thingsā¦but as of today, no more. Tonight it feels like home. Nobody will be knocking at 8 am to do shit tomorrow. And I hope to sleep in and then relax with coffee. Please lord let my kids sleep late in the AM. Hope you all are good. Been missing so much hereā¦
Yeah!!! Good news, this!
Iām watching Affair. Itās never ending. At first I thought that itās just shagging and the ordinary story of betraying and was about to skip it and go back to murders but then I noticed it continues, the plot is genious and the actors are really goodā¦ itās kind of heavy though but Iād recommend it. Actually Iād watch Fawlty towers with Cleese but itās on DVD and my ps is not plugged in
Edit so why donāt I plug it, too lazyā¦
I asked hp if would let you get a good rest. Now itās up to his/her moods. Congratulations, you guys made it! Iām so happy for you
High five from Jeff. Borrowed the pic from the person who rescued our dog in Spain and sent him to us. He does amazing work all the time. This new one came couple of weeks ago and was very shy and fearful, and nowā¦
Cheers buddy. Seems I didnāt need it last night. Yay!
Thanks
