Both! Depends on where you go. Most French-speaking communities are in the province of Quebec. Elsewhere, English is what you hear most.
And in any big city youāll hear all sorts of languages around. Vancouver especially, 50% there have neither English nor French as their first language. I mean, they all speak English anyways, but itās a very diverse place.
