Welcome to the community and to your sobriety. It won’t be an easy road but it is filled with great benefits.

Stay busy to keep yourself distracted from the urges. Keep hydrated to flush out all the toxins. Sleep as much as you can to help the body heal. Sometimes sleep gets really wonky at the beginning of the journey so don’t be discouraged.

This is a wonderful community full of support and great advice. Read the threads here and join in when you feel ready. Support is vital in our journey as we can not do this alone.

Also…this is another great thread to check out What’s YOUR plan?

Wishing you well and hope to see you around :hugs:

Keep it simple. Just get through today sober. Just today. Worry about tomorrow, when it gets here.

Hi and welcome Chelzie! You’ve come to the right place - we’re all fighting that same fight. There’s some good links above to get you started. Welcome to Talking Sober!

Sober Time app might be helpful - especially at the start. You will not have to wait for getting clean month or week, app will show you that first few minutes or first hours is also small victory.
You probably already have this app, but I mentioned it just in case - I’ve found this forum first, then the app.
