Just focus on today not forever. You can do this. I haven’t used in coming up on 7 years and you can do that and more just by maintaining your recovery. Trust me, if I can do it, you can definitely do it too.

The absence of anxiety was one of the main things that stopped me from going back and drinking again after finally managing to stop. It was like flicking a switch. My debilitating anxiety seemed to just disappear overnight and I did not want to go back there. Life has just got better and better since. So many other things are better now, but that really stands out. Stick with it. It is so worth it.
