This should technically be my day 3 but I woke up with the worst handover ever on Saturday (damn vodka) and I tried to downa vodka and coke to shake off the hair about 0900 and I tried to stomach a Bloody Mary around 1100 … nether of them worked. My stomach and head has been crazy messes ever since. I haven’t had a drop since that Bloody Mary and my stomach is in knots, my head feels like it’s going to explode and I’m plagued with hot flashes that make me feel even more nauseous. Has anyone else experienced this for days after they got on the sobriety train? When does it go away?

I was a very heavy drinker and my nausea lasts about 4–5 days. I would sweat at night for 2 weeks and had hallucinations for 2 days. Withdrall is the absolute worst. But once you get over that hump of pain and misery it is all worth being on sober. Just know it does get better! You got this!

@Gibb thank you for letting me know that there is an end, I just have to stay strong and just keep thinking that it’s just my body and mind healing its self
After putting all that poison in our bodies it really messing our chemistry up and there is going to be a lot of uncomfortable times, especially right away. You just have to keep reminding yourself that you are worth the fight. Things will get better.

@Shiraicar it will be better just hang in there, stay strong and focused think of what u will gain . Be patient, as u see we do care. Its a Journey With alots of ups and Downs but it will for sure be Worth it .
