I have experienced the same thing and have searched the internet for vitamins and supplements that might help. Most important is no alcohol, then water and rest. One of the many supplements that I am taking might be working too, hard to say. (Day 8)

Yes, we all know that feeling well. Believe me you’re strong enough to push through it! What are you coming off of?

Yes it’s your dopamine levels dropping to almost nothing. It’s the reason for me that quitting is so hard. I get so depressed I don’t see the point in living let alone quitting. So I got on antidepressants . But they take a month to kick in so in the meantime I microdosed mushrooms. It really worked for me. And my doctor who is an addiction specialist, had no problem with me doing it

Heroin…. 19days in now. The depression definitely subsided big time.

@Sey Hi I am in recovery from heroin as well and it really depends on how much you were using, how frequently and how long and what route it was administered. A lot of the time for heroin withdrawal people need to go to detox and get Suboxone tapers but you are over the hump it seems like. You could be going through post acute withdrawal now that the initial withdrawal is done.

Any other questions feel free to message me. I am 20 months sober from heroin and meth IV use this month so welcome and wish you luck!
