New here. Been battling alcoholism for a few years on and off. Started therapy back in feb and managed a 50 day sober stint, and an 80 day sober stint until over a week ago, have drank 4-5 times since. I quit last night around 5pm when my girlfriend gave me the option to quit or she’s leaving with my daughter. I have my first recovery group meeting this afternoon, and a therapy session at a horse ranch next week to help with recovery/PTSD. Really feel like this is my last shot besides for going to an actual rehab so praying I can keep it together for my girlfriend and my two kids.

Youve made the right decision coming here mate, theres so many helpful people, and you should be proud for being sober for so long, dont let one hiccup decide your fate, youve already shown you can do it!
