Day one i feel awfully emotional wreck i cant wait to get rid of this feeling
Todays a good day for day one. Write down how crappy you are feeling now and refer back to it when youre feeling better and your addiction is lying to you.
I would suggest also writing a list of things to keep you occupied because distraction during those first few weeks was key for me.

Welcome back Steven. I’m thinking the last four years haven’t worked out well. Glad you are back! Hopefully you know what a great and helpful place this is.
Last 4 years i have been doing the gym a lot but also drinking thinking i was in control but i know i need stop totally things were getting worse missing work and turning up to meet friends for coffee totally drunk and just fed up feeling sick guiltily depressed and always living in a total fear sitting here today fighting back tears
