I’m on day 2 again, and the nervousness/anxiety is intense. I feel like I’m on a roller coaster of emotion, and I dont remember feeling this bad the first time I got sober for a while. Maybe I need counseling. I dont know. What works for you with managing the anxiety/tension? I feel like I’m wound up and jumpy or something.

Sleep it off as much as you can, hydrate with water in between. My DOC is alcohol and it would usually take 4 days to get it out of my system completely. I had restless legs real bad and would go for a walk or run if it affected my sleep. Magnesium supplements help, as they are a natural muscle relaxer. Hope you feel better soon!
