I have a c5 c6 herniated disc, I was hit in 2015 and have just got done with my settlement. I started out seeing a chiropractor and going about 4 to 5 times a week and then the pain just wouldnt subside so he referred me to a sports medicine specialist and he administered steroid shots but then referred me to a spine specialist and now I get spinal epidurals. So running takes a toll on my body. I used to go to the gym daily and lift and run like crazy and its been a challenge but I’m slowly getting my health back so I can run again.

6 years. I practice in Washington. If I were you with the herniations, I would go out and buy a cervical traction kit. Do it for 5-10 minutes every day. Might help with the jarring motion of running. Maybe also invest in maximum support shoes.
