For some of us, those “killing devices” are part of our lively good. Now, do they belong on an international forum for sobriety. I can see why not. I would ask no one to hide part of who they are, but un the past…I have been asked to hide that part of me. So I did.

I wasn’t going to get involved. But my 2 cents is as I mentioned to you privately.
Guns is a political issue. I prefer not to see it. It may trigger suicidal thoughts and has no business being on a sober forum. With that said I have it blocked and muted.
I always respect you moderators decision. Good luck with this one.
No matter your decision you guys do a great job.

To add to what @CNevarezN just said…please remember that very often when issues such as this arise, what you DON’T see is that the moderators are discussing it, engaging with Robin on such topics and working to keep the forum running and safe for all. A little patience (or a lot) is asked from our members. We take all of this very seriously. So please, bring issues to us, and understand we are always working behind the scenes to help keep our community safe for all.

I just realized that guns are very likely to trigger cravings for gaming addicts and TV addicts. Another argument to prohibit pictures of them.
I sacrificed part of my life in the United States Military. Not only did my actions save the lives of a few Americans…but a few foriegn citizens as well. I find your comment lacking respect. You are 100% free to say and believe what you want…
Because Americans like me were willing to sacrifice…

I’m in the Military too, amigo. I’ve learned over the years to never take offense to whatever anyone says. Be it Right or Wrong in my personal opinion because that’s not my place or lane. I keep these things seperate. This is a Philosophy that has been evolving over the years, even more so now that I’ve been Sober for so long.

It’s kind of messed up if you really think about it. People who are pro-guns can share their opinion by glorifying guns through pictures, but also by simply talking about them, but anti-gun people can’t share their opinion without causing a discussion. And that’s nothing to do with moderation on TS or anything, but simply because showing pictures with guns is normal, but showing anti-gun pictures is fighting what’s normal, hence a political post and forbidden…
