Distractions?

What are some things that you do to distract yourself from drinking?
I personally like to go to a coffee shop and get a lovely cappuccino or right now pumpkin spice latte.

My main thing at the moment is reading this forum. But I go through phases. Other things that help are yoga, meditation, walking, sitting with the chickens, playing with the dog, calling my Mum, reading a book, having a bath, listening to a podcast, doing a jigsaw puzzle, making a nice cup of tea or hot chocolate. I also go through phases of stress eating which is a much less healthy way of coping with life :see_no_evil: but we can’t be perfect all of the time 🤷

The best one for me is to relate with people who support my sobriety and to have fun with them or just chat. The people here for me is fundamental. I am very grateful to all here

I love going to Starbucks for coffee and a dessert. Read, walk, binge watch netflix, I crochet. This site which I live on.
