I don’t know how many people outside the US are aware of Jason Isbell or Drive By Truckers.
Jason’s story is amazing. He was by self admission a train wreck. Alcohol and Coke.
In 2012, he was on the road with Ryan Adams. He’d been fired from Truckers and seen a marriage blown up by his addictions.
Adams staged an intervention and with the help of Isbell’s girlfriend, Amanda Shires, he got clean.
