OMG yes - this was so good and bad at the same time!
In Canada i used to get those banana shaped candies like the peanuts but haven’t seen in forever anywhere… those were pure sugar but had a lovely banana aftertaste…
Best candy - almond joy or skor
Worst candy - candy corn

When I was a kid I would trade whatever two pieces of candy my sister wanted for per one Oh Henry bar, Reese’s Peanut Butter cups, or Peanut M&Ms.
The worst for me were Tootsie Rolls.

My parent’s church group. They thought Halloween was the work of the devil, so they took us to their church groups to make sure our souls were safe… well, how did that work out Mom and Dad!!!
