i “only” have a “not much worthy-job”, something that is not really resprected in my country…sadly. i am an doctor’s assistant, a medical specialist for hygiene. today a woman told me i make her feel safe <3 because i am how and who i am. she is terrified of eye doctors and i made her feel safe. so … job done…i felt so good when i heard that. i want to know from you, what do you want to hear every day that makes your life feel whole / interesting / worthy ?

I hear two things that make my day worthwhile. One of them is “I love you” from my daughter and partner. The other is their resounding “no” when I joke about going back to drinking. Makes me realize I’ve made a good choice.

That’s pretty cool! Having someone say you made them feel safe when they were scared is pretty special. Affirmation of doing a good job is always nice

My wife telling me how grateful she is that we didn’t give up on our marriage is about the most heartwarming thing imaginable for me. We both had to dig pretty deep to forgive eachother and to fall in love again. So when she affirms that to me… Sigh😊

In my job i come in contact with elderly people yes Gabe there are folk older than me lol and over the years ive come to befriend them met there kids and grandkids and its nice to get a quote Great job the gardens are looking great , also when i visit Prisons and Hospitals and doss houses in my AA hat its good to hear thanks Ray thats what i wanted to hear or thanks for the cigs especially in the prisons , so im blessed in my Family life and work place and my AA service its a way of life now and its only for the day moving house on the 27th oct another adventure !
