After discarding all the people and things that were related to my addiction it left a void that I am now filling with more purposeful things. The thing is that I have to be on fire for recovery and the new life it brings…thats the only way to succeed. Yes it will have ups and downs. Some days life serves up a Dookie donut for breakfast but I keep going… Perseverance builds character, all feelings will pass, and blessed days come.

Filling the void with more purposeful things is kind of exciting isn’t it? It’s like we’re reinventing ourselves or something like it. May we have more blessed days than dookie donuts
