Just found this interesting. I am lucky neither of my parents drink and this gives me motivation to never become a drunk parent myself either one day.

I’m so glad I quit booze when I did. I’m pretty sure my kid saw some version of those things. I know that when I occasionally joke about starting to drink again, I get an emphatic “no!” from her.
It’s hard to think about that and realize what damage you may have done.
