Hello familia! I haven’t posted in a few days, a week… no idea. I am well. I started getting depressed and overwhelmed by friends, the now ex boyfriend, and family so I decided to take some personal time from work and everything and go stay at a friends. It has been incredibly relaxing. I wish I knew how to upload pics. It’s on the intercoastal in lauderdale and the pool over looks the water. It’s the most quiet Ive had in probably years! Went out on a friends boat to Boca and jumped off into the ocean… Just really what I needed! My sobriety is going great! I’m a few days away from 30 days and it’s really exciting! I also found out not 1… not 2… but FOUR of my really good friends in newyork recently started their recovery! Keeping my eyes away from the rearview! Hope all is well for everyone!!

Sunrise and A1A up the street from Las Olas. Not sure how well you know the area. Im close to Miami so I typically am on the “southern” part of fort lauderdale.
I was raised in Hollywood/Ft.lauderdale … i know the area well

That sounds amazing…I’ve been thinking of going down to the beach lately just haven’t & reading your post makes me want to. Being sober isn’t always easy, real life smacks you in the face…we gotta find the right outlets.
I’m glad you are able to find something so peaceful right now.Im also glad FOUR of your friends are doing recovery…I hope one day some of mine choose the same.Thanks for sharing.
That’s crazy! We’d be neighbors. I was just at hollywood beach the other day. Love the boardwalk there!

Take the time to go once. It’s so worth it! A couple days ago I went just for breakfast. Barely anyone was on the beach and it was gorgeous!
