That’s awesome! Congrats on your sobriety and now Tackling cigarettes. I think it’s smart to not do everything at one time. I had well over a year before I tackle vaping. I wasn’t even planning on quitting vaping it just kind of happened. But I learned I could apply the same tools I learned to quit opiates and alcohol and apply that to vaping. It’s the same thing and taking it one day at a time. If you have a urge reach out before you buy a pack and think about why you quit in the first place. Also definitely a smart move using the patches that way you could wean yourself down and Have a smoother transition. Once again I want to say congrats on your success and progress. Very cool

Thank you brother yea very true ive learned about addiction thia past year so now im just saying to myself stay away from one cigarette for one day. When we start to get sober we then want the best for our bodies.

Hii and congratulations on your soberity! I noticed smoking and drinking went hand in hand for me. Knowing you got this and acknowledging your emotions are huge steps.

I definitely can relate to that last part About wanting the best for our bodies. once I quit the opiates and the alcohol I felt a lot of momentum and it was motivating. Them I started becoming interested in my health more than I ever have been. I’m definitely not perfect and I still eat a crazy amount of candy to be honest and occasionally fast food but I am making more of a effort to look at what I’m putting in my body and drink more water. You never really realize how much damage you’re doing or how something is affecting you until you stop. It’s like when I quit vaping I didn’t realize my breathing was being affected until I stopped. I didn’t realize it was making my anxiety worse until I quit. I also Had more money from not vaping. When you’re in the middle of a habit it’s like it blocks your ability to see what it’s really doing to your mind and body. reasoning and proper judgment goes right out the window..
