I sautéed the beef with onions, rosemary and hot sauce. Was not sure if flavors would blend. They did nicely!

@Tito23 editing. Meant to say first time around WOW on your pozole! You are quite the cook. Love all the lime wedges lettuce and radishes to go with it.

What a beautiful birthday cake and card and is that a sparkling balloon in the background? Happy belated birthday to your friend!

@Scorpn it was a balloon from where they had their combo anny/bday dinner. Balloon was supposed to last a week, so yes, I guess, yes, a sparkling balloon! I will pass on the wishes, thank you.
The cake was homemade in that it was made by someone in their home … a custom order for my friend.

100% no added colour or filter, golden and delicious, Burford Brown eggs on toast. On Marmite, of course, on top of Danish seeded sourdough.

My Costco sells a frozen Detroit style pepperoni pizza that I really like. I was raised on California pizza and only discovered how good Detroit style is in the last couple of years. :yum: :pizza:

Busy day. We often pick up a store made (fresh) pizza on days like today and add toppings to it. I’m sure I’ve posted that before - it’s halfway decent and not greasy. In this case, sliced red onion and green olives, more mozzarella and fresh grated Parmesan (that’s all I really had available). I craved some greens and blue cheese. Baby arugula and Iowa famous Maytag blue cheese, plus some blue cheese dressing. So creamy and funky. I put some salad/cheese on each bite of pizza.
