Nothing to see here.
Slumming it tonight.
Cold chicken. Leftover macaroni salad and 3 cheese
Toast. On rye of course.

Slumming it tonight.
Leftover pork roast was a little dry for my taste so I through it in the food processor with fresh ginger, garlic, green onions, a jalapeno, soy sauce, mirin, and sesame oil.
Now I have a freezer full of delicious dumplings.
I needed a quick bite after a long, late morning dog walk before my appointment today and I think my eyes were bigger than my stomach! Tasty though, and a half leftover for later. Turkey wrap with sharp cheddar, chunky guacamole with some Greek yogurt to tone the spice down, a beautiful tomato and some greens.
Gambir, Mongolian pancakes. We ate ours with blueberry jam and drank blackcurrant lemonade. Both of them common in Sweden, and we read that blueberries and blackcurrant grows in Mongolia as well. So we thought it would work.
Trying my hand at this whole berries in a salad thing for the first time, with feta and a light vinaigrette. Pretty fricken tasty! This thread made me willing to try it, and for that I’m grateful. Made my hubby the usual. We used up some leftover rotisserie chicken and it worked out great.
Strawberry Peach Smoothie.
A little bit better looking? @Olivia
For lunch
LBLTA
Lots a bacon lettuce tomato and avocado, which I had them put on the side. And I added the lobstah salad on a ciabatta roll. With some kind of fucking aioli
Side of fruit.
Passion fruit ice tea.
BLTA’s for us tomorrow!
Haven’t been to this thread in a while … scrolling through all your delicious posts makes me too hungry
I aquired a new hobby I’d like to share: got a pizza stone you can put in your oven. Watched a lot of youtube tutorials on authentic pizza neapoletana. Did a lot of practice. Spent way too much on fancy ingridients. My hands are sore from kneading the dough for 30 mins… but it’s all worth it! Here’s my homemade pizza had some friends over for a taste test and everyone loved it!
Beautifully done! It’s also one of my favorite pastimes and I’m due to make some. Calzones are also fun to make.
The hubs wanted Buffalo Wild Wings today. (My least favorite place in the whole world) I found out today they have cheesecake. Slightly redeeming
It’s so much fun! Calzone sounds good too, but I imagine you have to bake it much longer in order for the filling be cooked?
My biggest challenge was raw dough in the middle while everything else was brown already not too much liquid in the dough, no wet toppings did the trick … it’s a real pizza science!
Yes, baked much longer, 30-45 minutes m, though I tend to make mine much smaller than average so they cook through better. I also precook all the fillings and drain off liquid, never use a tomato based sauce inside but have it for dipping afterward.
I’ve had the same issue with gooey centers and have had to stretch the dough pretty thin. Even with my pizza stone, my oven doesn’t get hot enough. I have lots of notes on making pizza dough in my handwritten recipe notebook! Keep at it!
Good morning! I’m so glad farm fresh tomato season has arrived. After breakfast I’m headed to my local farm stand for more ‘maters (as we say here in the Midwest USA), plus sweet corn and whatever else looks good.
That looks yummy
Omg same! I hate that place. It’s one of my daughters favorites. I love Buffalo anything but I almost always get sick every time I’ve eaten there.
@Runningfree yup, same here. It’s all so salty! And I like salt! LOL. I hate the atmosphere, too.
I use to love BWW but they started getting stingy on the size of their wings and stopped making my favorite jammin jalapeño sauce. And then fell in love with Epic Wings. Thicker wings and their breadsticks are delicious, but I can’t eat the bread anymore since im doing keto
