Foodies Unite #5 (trigger warning food) TAKE ANOTHER LITTLE PIZZA MY HEART!

Haha! I like salsa! Just not too hot. I used to only do mild but I can do medium too  This is mild as that’s all they had.
Slightly more fresh than jarred salsa (this is sold in refrigerated section)

Just teasing! :kissing_heart: I like the fresh refrigerated stuff, too. Those fresh flavors are so good and I personally think you can enjoy them more when milder on the chile spiciness.

Those messy ones are the BEST kind. Looks great.

TUNA TARTARE TACOS
smashed avocado, napa cabbage, wasabi, aged soy, sesame

HEIRLOOM TOMATO & AVOCADO
little gem, cucumber, castelvetrano olive, crispy chickpea, breadcrumb, parmesan vinaigrette

I’m not a chickpea fan but the crispy chickpea was a tasty added crunch to the salad.

Rainbow trout. I marinated with Bragg’s soy, sesame oil and our local wildflower honey with a bit of garlic. I’m still so impressed kiddo ate a whole piece!

Gotta have BBQ when in Kentucky! Changed it up tonight on the smoked pulled pork and made tostadas with sour cream base, then pork topped with salsa verde (homemade that I brought from home), queso fresco and my Mami’s slaw.

They are from https://www.constantlyvariedgear.com/

They are compression so they don’t slide or move when I’m running even with my phone in the pocket on the side. Since I found those I literally won’t wear leggings from anywhere else.

The kids were desperate to go to Glasgow for the day so, despite waking with a slight head cold, that’s what we did. It was a really nice day and we got burgers with knives stuck in them and a dessert as big as my daughter’s head!

I thought you’d find it interesting that most mornings my breakfast looks like this. 1/2 for me, 1/2 for my spoiled, egg-loving dogs.

Acorn squash rings. Covered with a variation of my itailian dressing (made it a little thicker than normal). Covered in Romano cheese, seasoned ground turkey in the middle.

Freaking delicious

And lime.
It was great :+1:

And we went with the burgers.

I asked the concierge what he liked he said he loved the burgers and so do a lot of celebrities. I asked which one? He asked if we heard of Chrissy Tigen? :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: She loves their cheeseburger. So that’s what we went with.

Our largest and smallest egg this week.
Had plenty of large eggs before, but never have we had such a tiny and perfectly formed butt nugget.
