Ohio is pizza hell. They have managed to screw it up as bad as what they call “chili.” The only decent pie I can get is through door dash, and it’s never even warm. Sorry had to rant, and this felt like the right place.
Aww, thank you so much!! It has truly been a sh!tshow! Lol and now my 3 year old is sick again and I swear it’s become a vicious cycle!! Lol but I’m hoping everyone will be back to good soon! I’m praying this week will be my last week of the shingles!! The rash is mostly gone finally, but the pain remains, albeit not as intense!
White Chocolate Grill
Cucumber Fizz. Lemon-ginger with fresh mint and cucumber nectar over ice.
I went with the Maytag Burger with the famous Iowa blue cheese. Is it famous Rosa? It WAS good!!
I just can’t get into the quinoa @anon9289869
I’ve tried it so many ways. Just can’t. But it did sound good so I left it on here for you
And my wife is still making fun of me for getting the broccoli with my burger. “Who does that?”
You accidentally added the word pizza to this sentence.
I kid. I kid.
For me it’s my go-to. Seed lip has such a specific flavor to it that it doesn’t trigger me at all, it’s just nice to have a mocktail sometimes that isn’t full of sugary stuff
Oh dang that quinoa burger sounds right up my alley. I love quinoa! Imma have to do some google investigation and try to find a similar recipe to attempt to make that myself.
I am a big Maytag lover and had no idea it comes from IA. I just found out they have an online store and that is very dangerous.
There was one quinoa burger in Venice Beach I could handle. It was pretty good. Can’t remember the name of the place. But I remember it didn’t have arugula.
Yup, it sure is. However, I think it usually gets overshadowed by our proximity to Wisconsin cheeses. Now I have to look for some Maytag blue cheese! @EarnIt oh no, why did you mention the online store?! I’m screwed
You might be in competition with my area of Iowa for that designation. Ever heard of Quad Cities pizza? I wouldn’t even call it pizza. Pretty glad I moved away from the Quad Cities. And so many places try to do a Chicago deep dish style here, which is not my jam at all. I’m grateful my grocery store has a decent take and bake but we often rely on frozen. I really ought to be making my own more often.
Salmon dinner with leftover grilled red bell peppers.
Baked chicken breast for lunches and quick dinners seasoned with cumin, homegrown cayenne powder (super hot!), garlic powder, S&P.
@Dazercat i have no idea what chicos might be, unless they’re referring to chitlepins or mono chico some other mini chile pepper, but those are super spicy.
Oh. He said it was the corn
I forgot to mention that.
I kept thinking of you saying Chicas. But there were definitely no women on my salad
Lol! Why on earth was the corn called chicos?! Strange.
Edit: After googling, dried sweetcorn is called “chicos” all over the American SW but more so in New Mexico. It’s apparently just as sweet after rehydrating. Learn something new every day, and I have a dehydrator!
I am a Chicago guy, but always been thin crust. The best pizza I made on my own was taking using nan bread for the crust and on the grill
I definitely dig the thin crust!
Cracker thin…or “wafer thin”, if you like Monty Python
Ahhh that’s who’s doing it. I should have known. But I don’t have access. I was thinking Salty
