That sounds like my weekend cooking plans solidified right there. Thanks!
This is exactly why I drink out of a bottle! If I leave the top off the bottle she will sniff it out and play with it until it falls over… I was just thinking yesterday that I should give her some as play toys and let her have at them…
Everyone needs a sniff tester, right?
I saw this Aussie style licorice/liquorice at the store. Didn’t realize it was a style
@AyBee
No pictures of the bacon and pancakes…but off the cast iron they were delicious
Soooo cuuuuute.
When B was my sons baby, he use to shoot or flick the bottle caps across the room and she would retrieve them like a dog. It was very embarrassing for a cat
I didn’t realise it was a style either.
I think they might be bullshitting for marketing purposes.
Internet says that aussie style is just referring to it being bite size pieces instead of the long rope style
I’m still making bullshit.
Rope or short lengths (5-6 inches) is still the most common, and if it’s cut in bite-size pieces it will then generally be coated in chocolate and called a licorice bullet.
Thank you!
Mint Pony.
Fresh lime juice, mint nectar, ginger beer, muddled over ice.
Do y’all mind that I post the Mocktails? I like to post them when I think they have some fun interesting ingredients. If anyone prefers I did not post mocktails once and awhile please just let me know. I will happily stop doing it.
Grilled Artichokes Fresh from CA. Parmesan dusted and served with aioli sauce.
Fresh Kale & Spinach Salad Wood grilled fresh, all natural chicken breast with fresh kale, spinach, strawberries, carrots, candied nuts and sesame seeds tossed in an Asian honey vinaigrette.
Lots of fire cooking, are you camping this weekend? Nothing better then sober camping & cooking
I’m on my way!!!
I appreciate the mocktails as they give me ideas for possible summer beverages.
Thanks. That’s was I was hoping for. I don’t do virgin drinks. Like bloody Mary’s or Pina Colada. I like to ask if the bartender has a special mocktall they make. It’s too bad more places don’t do that. This place with the Mint Pony had 3 different types.
I was going to get the cucumber one but I had one like that last night.
Those all sound fantastic! I got married once I got sober and bc my husband and I are non drinkers, the restaurant provided us with our own smorgasbord of mocktails at each course…they were amazing…and one sounded a lot like the lemon ginger one listed above. While everyone else was taking advantage of the open bar, we were treated like a king and queen with high end fizzy drinks. I love that more and more places are picking up on the need for classy, tasty and complex non alcoholic options!
