There is no need to hide in the shadows anymore. Know that there are others going through a similar journey to stay clean for good.
I’m on my 12th day without placing a bet. With each day it gets a tiny bit easier. I’ve just been paid today too so today is a really big test for me. Out of habit now, I’m used to just going in the bookmakers and gambling my life away. Sometimes I don’t even know that I’m in a trance until I exit the place.
Today will be the day I can prove to myself that not only on pay day, but any day I can overcome adversity and be strong.
What I have earned this month has come through hard work. And nobody I’m not going to give what is mine away so easily.
Use this thread as motivational talk with one another. Use it however you like. Just know that you’re not alone and if you really want a big win in life. Beat the addiction not the casino.
