I am one of those people who make the same resolutions every year and usually break them by the end of the week. This time is different. It’s still not any easier but with this app counting down for me and you guys showing support without judgement, I finally believe I might have a change. I never post anything, not even on Facebook, but posting on here makes me really feel like I’m not alone. This is day number 8 for me. Whoever has the same resolution, we’re in this together.

This app has made a world of difference for me. That and committing to a life of not drinking rather than just trying to cut back, or not drinking for Lent, etc. Those times it was like I was giving permission to fail because it wasn’t a real resolution.
We’re all in this together…walking the path of sobriety day by day. I think we all need support, comradery, affirmation, and the honest truth from someone like us that understands. Happy sober Sunday!
