Forum glitch?

I use talking sober in Safari browser. No App.
I don’t have any problems.
I am able to pinch the pictures open before and after tapping them to enlarge them.

I am on iPhone iOS 18.1.1

With prior intention to update to 18.3 and now I see that there is an18.4 that I will be updating to.

Hopefully the recent iOS updates are not what has caused the problem.

Yes, it’s the app that’s the issue. It works fine in safari.

I will add I have no problems using a browser to get on. It’s just not my usual and I’d much rather rely on the app.

This is now getting officially silly.
When I try to open the app all I get is a grey screen nothing else.
I’m just glad I can use it from my tablets browser.
But, it’s not the same :neutral_face:

I’ve got it working by clearing the cash and the data. Starting from scratch.

However it’s still as jumpy as hell probably worse than before.

Unfortunately my app is still glitching as well. About half the time I open the app, I can’t click on any threads.

Restarting the app works about half the time so I just keep closing and restarting the app until it runs like normal.

@Robin hope you are doing well. Just checking to seeif you have had a chance to look at the different glitches mentioned throughout the thread. Some are starting to get worse like the jumpiness and the having to restart the app and others are just a nuisance.

I got a Motorola phone and the app is just a blank screen. Is the app no longer available or is it not compatible with Motorola? I haven’t come across this in any of the other phones or even tablets I’ve used over the years…

I can view the website from my phone, but can’t access my counters or journal entries.

Try clearing out the the apps cash and the data storage.
I had the same problem yesterday.
If you clear the data you’ve got some setting up to do but as soon as you log in things should be OK and nothing will be lost, that is if you’ve got cloud synch running. If not try clearing the cash first and see if that doe it for you :winking_face_with_tongue:

I’ve uninstalled and re installed a couple times so far. I guess I’ll keep trying.

They are now. That was 2 weeks ago. That got fixed. But there’s still many issues with others listed on this thread.
Not sure you can do anything about that.

I do like the new format of the app but now I can’t attach images.

Edit…I can’t reset password on the app and because I’ve forgotten my password I can’t log into desktop Talking Sober site. Asked for a link to reset password over 20 min ago. The email address is correct and I have checked spam.

Edit 2…saw new thing pop up saying skip password and get link to log in ..this also does not work.

I am grateful I was able to figure out my password so I can use the online site to attach images. The app still won’t allow me to do so

The password thing sucks. I just uploaded a selfie on the app. Works for me. We have the same phone. Odd.

That is odd. I also checked and have the latest update. Luckily I had a laptop that has talking sober logged on so I can use it for uploading images but still can’t do from the app. :thinking:

Can’t upload any images and the app is constantly freezing and sticking. It’s touch and go whether it works these days for me. Def something wrong with pics at the moment for Android. Frustrating.

Hey everyone. I’m looking into the upload issue. I’ll have an update soon.

As for the password issue that @JazzyS mentioned - I can see 5 emails that were successfully sent to the email that your account is associated with in the last few hours. I won’t share your email address here of course, but they were all delivered successfully to your email provider. If you’re not seeing them, it means they are either filtered out by your provider or they are in some folder/filter that makes them not visible. There’s not much else that I can do when the emails successfully deliver.

Interesting about the email issue. I stopped getting notifications after the last update but that didn’t bother me since I’m on every day :joy:. I wonder if something in settings is turned off. I’ll check on my email side too.
