On iOS 26.1 (23B85)
I am having multitude of problems. This is already saying that this is being edited in another window, so I don’t even know if I’ll be able to post it. I’m unable to edit in comments.
I unable to do a lot.
I’m frustrated.
It’s not my particular phone. It has something to do with this update first it was the 26 update and now there’s an additional 26.1.

I gave up trying to correct anything. The cursor continued to want to be in a place. I was not putting it. There wasn’t anything I could do about it then it’s happened another time.
I have two phones one with the new software and one with the old software .. 18.
On the old one old software, it’s not happening with this new software it’s happening. It’s making me not want to go to the site with this phone that I have had for six months and been very happy with but not happy with this new update and then the additional one that came afterwards.

Then iOS 26.1
iOS is now going to be named after the year and not go in sequential order from the last update.
Maybe that’s the problem. This is 2025 not 2026.

Hey @Robin I’m getting some new glitches on my iPad these day. I think since my new Apple software update on my iPad.
I cannot add pics to threads if I write first.
If I start wring on a thread the box for opening my pics will not open. I have to close out and start all over again. And if I add the pic first. It doesn’t happen.
And sometimes I cannot copy and past a thread. Usually I hold down the thread I want to copy and past and it gives me those options. Of course I just tried doing that and it works.
Anyway. Just thought I’d let you know and wonder if others have the same experience.

I sometimes fear that reading these posts will cause my device to catch the glitch. I have the same OS on iPad as you, and zero problems. There, now I’ve jinxed it!

Unfortunately my iPhone now has a small glitch. Sometimes I can’t open the thread I want. Or any thread. And I have to close out and try again. Sorry. Double jinx

I updated my iPhone 16 Pro to iOS 26 ( iOS 26.1 (23B85) in September. I haven’t yet done the additional updates since that one was such a disaster and Apple admits it.
I had a flawlessly working phone that no longer is flawlessly working
If I am going to post a picture or in the music thread a YouTube, I am very careful to write everything I want to write and then add the photo if I add the photo first, then I can’t do anything or it’s just a real mess
It’s worth it to me to go delete it and start over. I also have a huge problem editing on the site sometimes it’s absolutely impossible. Sometimes it will start deleting stuff higher up in my post and it will lock up and then I can’t do anything about it except say screw it and either delete the whole thing or leave it like it is. Yes, it took me a while to figure out that after I need to hit the little black checkmark down there up above the keyboard before I can go forward to do certain things, especially on the site
Yes, the key is to write whatever you’re going to write and then add the picture and hope for the best and hope you don’t have to edit anything.
In the next week or so, I’m going to do the updates the little additional updates one that doesn’t have that much the other one which is supposed to “fix bugs”.
I only use talking sober in the Safari browser.
After reading, what update you’re on and seeing that I posted about it just above you in this thread I’m not going to do the update next week.
For instance, a lot of times if things are jammed up to go forward, you have to check that black checkmark there in the middle of the page on the far right. That’s like you completed one thing and you want to begin another thing.

Ok its driving me mad and im curious if its only happening to me. Do threads open far up the thread and not at the last place you left off? I used to be able to open a thread and it was at the last read post. No longer. It scrolls up almost all the time creating a bunch of extra clicks. Just me?

I’m not having that problem. I use Safari on iOS. I’m having the problem where I can’t edit anything.
