Day off, day off! Happy friday friends it is my day off today. I was feeling a little anxious because I have plans with my sister and I am letting all of my unresolved family drama pile up. Oddly getting on this app and reading around soothed me. Now if only I could start to work on that… 
Back to my day off mood. I’m going to the hardware store for paint and minor things so I can get my patio all set for spring. After that I am taking a looooooong and probably expensive stroll down some grocery aisles. My house is out of everything and I need to replenish. Happy sober weekend to all and thanks for being here.

It’s been beautiful weather the last couple of days and today is no exception. I need to burn some brush but we have had red flag warnings so it’s a no go (windy and very low humidity). My fella and I are starting to feel the stress that home buying can bring and we really need to work on that together after some high emotions and a couple stupid tiffs. So I’m off to buy a couple steaks and some veg to grill tonight and hopefully we can decompress a bit. We will be looking at a couple houses this weekend. Eeeeek!

Yay Rosa! I cruise around on Zillow from time to time but we are probably still a year or so away financially. Are you staying in your area or coming down mid-state (DSM) to me?

Staying in DBQ, the job is here and wow do the houses sell fast! And we are going to be pushing the limit on our price range to get what we want. It’s a challenge for sure.

I mowed the lawn at my parents garden. 
It’s 9 pm and I am laying down for sleep now… As I am super tired. Staying here for the weekend. Sober.

Happy Friday Gang! It’s turned into a rather pleasant day, so I might mow the lawn for the first time this year. Also got some materials to tune up my daughters car.

My slow amble down the grocery aisles took me to the one cashier who was being made fun of for skipping his prom to play in a chess tournament. I just had a lovely discussion with some high schoolers about embracing your nerdiness. 
I planned to clean but I think chips on the couch will win this evening.

I planned on mowing the lawn, but putting in new spark plugs in 2 of my cars wiped me out. I’m ready for some quality couch time!
