Probably about the time I had my one and only win on the horse’s.
Garason Savannah. Owned by a syndicate in Cheltenham. I kinda knew a couple of them.
So I had a £5 on him.
Got £86 back.
I’d just split up with my first wife and she was given the winnings because we worked in the same pub still.
