It has been a a hot summer here – or at least it seems like it. Or maybe I just forgot.
Tied dyed T shirts in the yard for a seven year old friend’s birthday and make a colossal failure out of today’s sourdough. Now listening to a whopper of an electrical storm and trying not to melt in my 86 degree house. Happy Friday, everyone!
Long day. Was hungry.
Wang chung
Tonight?
I wanged and chunged pretty hard last night. Don’t know if I can do it again tonight
It’s good cardio, for real.
Ahem. Ahem.
I don’t care if Monday’s blue
Tuesday’s grey and Wednesday too
Thursday, I don’t care about you
Hey Bootz.
Beautiful sunny day, weekend is supposed to stay sunny.
And we are off camping.
Pictures will be forthcoming I promise.
The Wye valley has some stunning views.
It’s already hot outside here. We’re at the start of a heatwave
Sounds heavenly
I have just started reading a book called Braiding Sweetgrass - your post reminds me of it. The lady who wrote it has American Indian/ indigenous (sorry, not sure the best way to describe it!) and the way she talks about the natural world is just so captivating. Totally in love with everything she has to say so far!
Sounds grand. The isle of Lewis is beautiful I gather.
Yes, still training, Third weekend in September now. I’ve had the crazy idea about doing it again in the evening of the Saturday.
Basically they run three over the weekend so if you want you can do all three and it’s called Trident. If I do the High Moon it’ll just be a Double Tap.
I’ve still got time to book on if I decide to.
Excited to see the photos!!
It’s Friday so that can only mean one thing.
It’s time to Wang Chung
What is Wang Chung?
35°C here (95°F) and humid.
I’ll fly thru the grocery store now so I won’t have to get out any more. It will get hotter outside, that’s not the max yet
Def. no sports in this heat. I’ll eat ice cream and sport on when the weather becomes better
Thanks for the ear worm lol
