You make some valid points. Ann Arbor pedestrians are extremely entitled and careless.

I remember it being quite so, and the most beautiful part where the ladies. The local FrƤuleins made quite an impression on a young Marine. At 21, I wasnā€™t much interested in the countryside.

Since you are intimately familiar with our winters I donā€™t have to tell you that 9 months of it can drive most people to the bottle. Through in some poverty and unemployment and you have the makings for an addiction epidemic lol.
