Absolutely amazing to me that the version I pick is Live at Isle of Wight. I was close to being in attendance! Now I see a part of it on the internet.
Happy Tuesday everyone!
"The Moody Blues performed live at the Isle Of Wight Festival in 1970.
This festival (also known as the “British Woodstock”) took place in Newport on the Isle of Wight, England in three editions from 1968 to 1970, the latest edition was by far the most famous. Then, according to the Guinness Book of Records, between 600,000 and 700,000 fans attended the festival. It was also one of Jimi Hendrix’s last appearances just weeks before he passed away in London. Beside Jimmi Hendrix during this five days event, The Who, The Doors, Jethro Tull, Leonard Cohen, Miles Davis and of course The Moody Blues also performed.
In 2002 “The Isle Of Wight Festival” made a restart and can be visited annually.
“Tuesday Afternoon” hits the charts only in Canada (#12) and the US (#24 Billboard Hot100).
