The space ship landed in 1996. It took me over 20 years to get used to it. Inside it’s pretty good I can tell you. The clip is from 2009. In 1977 Amsterdam looked a bit more raw. This is 1982. The Amsterdam I grew up in.

Being a fan of Ed van der Elsken’s still photos, it was nice to see his work in motion. Capturing a lot of the colors and images on film as he did as stills! Reminded me of this, it is hard to watch it now in 2022, in fact, tears through the whole thing, for all the reasons. Your city is beautiful, Menno, your country @ShadowFax .
