This band is deeply Canadian and my entire formative years are wrapped up in them. While this isnā€™t their most famous song, it has the most meaning to me. If you havenā€™t heard of them I highly recommend a deep dive. Theyā€™re mindblowing and incredible humans.

I was never a big Miley fan until the last 5ish years, I was just a bit too old to appreciate her younger stuff. But nowā€¦damnā€¦this woman. I feel the same way about grown up Taylor Swift. Her last 3 albums have been total gut punches to me.

I would not be able to identify another song of hers, (other than Jolene and W Ball, truthfully!
I have listened to Wrecking Ball a thousand times at least. ( At least, haha, really not really) Love her voice and her performanceā€¦ to me it is one of the best live performances I have ever seen. Not to mention all the flags and everything at Glastonbury.

Also, I really like your Canadian group you posted!

Glastonbury has never failed to blow my mind. In all these years, I swear there is always a performance that just blows everyone away.

Iā€™ve loved The Tea Party since their very first video came out around 1992/1993ā€¦his voice is unreal and they have fused instruments and styles from all over the world into their music. Iā€™ve seen them live 11 times and met them once after a show. Theyā€™re good men, and put a lot of work into ending violence against women. I could go on about them for hours lol. Def check out The River, Sister Awake, Temptation, Release, The Bazar, Fire In The Head. To start haha.

I donā€™t know the language, the meaning of the words. But this is universal. It moves me in deep and good ways. X
