Obviously I missed live music. Jason Isbell is first, November 15th. And thank god someās sold out already or Iād go broke.
Iāve missed live music, too. We drove to Salt Lake City, Utah for a show last month, and it was canceled 5 hours before showtime. One of the crew turned up with Covid. Thatās about an 8-hour drive from home. So my daughter and I went and got new tattoos, and we all went bowling. It was a great trip anyway.
Another thought: the difference between Ani diFranco and Maria Anna Mozart is that both are brilliant musicians and composers, but at the age of 18, the musical career of one took off, and the musical career of the other ended.
I think they would have enjoyed meeting each other; I think they may have found some things in common. Maria Anna Mozart is an interesting figure. We donāt have as much about her as we do about her brother - but thereās a really good article here:
This is so interesting. And sadā¦ I never knew he had a sister. Thanks for sharing.
I was listening to this yesterday on one of my playlists.
Thatās good stuff. But now Iām carsick.
I think we could be the best of friends.
