One of my balcony gardens. Threw out the peas yesterday, the tomatoes start to ripe, the green beans are delicious and the eggplants … hmmmm :face_savoring_food:

A small crown of broccoli , some jalapeños, and more pickling cucumbers. We’ve made pickles these past 2 Saturday’s in a row and it looks like we will be again when the weekend gets around again as there are more clearly on the way out there. I also have to more heads of cauliflower coming along.

Some blackberries fresh from the garden.

Beautiful. I also picked fresh blackberries yesterday from the hedge to go with pancakes and ice cream.

Then I happened to meet a nice old man who was walking a huge Dogue de Bordeaux dog and a silly soppy sheep dog, so I let the dogs try them and stopped to pet the dogs and chat.

Then I dropped them all over the floor and they all got squashed. So I went home with about 4 pieces.

And I got big ‘turner and hooch’ dog slobbered :drooling_face:

The end. :rofl::rofl:

I have a new found respect for actually HOW big, BIG DOGS like yours are. This one was a hulking 60kgs and looked like she would tear you limb to limb, but was actually as soft as velvet and wonderfully sweet. :heart_eyes::heart_eyes: Plus her name was Lillie Puppy :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Out of everything I’m growing from seed this specific okra plant seems to be doing the best!! I didn’t realize how big they get until doing some research and eventually I’m going to have to put it in the ground because they’ll be too big for pots.But to be honest besides occasional feeding I really haven’t been doing much and I’m not sure if I’m supposed to cut certain things or really what I’m supposed to do. Mostly it’s been trial and error. And not many things have made it this far. I have some ghost pepper seeds that are doing pretty decent but I can’t expect to be perfect or a master in a couple months.

I’m not sure if it’s best To just pick something specific and try to get really good at it or do multiple things.

I’m probably going to plant some more okra seeds in small parts and stick with those. I’m excited for fall coming around the corner because I want to grow spinach and Basil also

The Dixie cups are ghost pepper-

Ok Ray gotta question for you and anyone who wants to chime in

Started from seed this Bell Pepper early spring April. I let it “enjoy” just being in my kitchen.

Will it just die? Can I plant it in a pot or garden? Suggestions are greatly appreciated. It did make a nice little house plant.

Member of the night shade family they are perennials so will come back every year they like acidic soil and here in Scotland they will survive our winters in greenhouses or poly tunnels , tip for the winter trim back not to much this will put it into the dormant state like hibernation this is our climate here but if there its mild through the winter then you can put outside but if you like it as a house plant why not .hope this helps
