Gardening In Recovery

Finding my garden and my flowers again has been one of my biggest pleasures in sobriety.:tulip:

Looking for some advice please

I planted a slice of tomato a couple of weeks ago and it looks like it’s doing well

Wondered when I should separate out the individual seeds/plants? Think there are a couple more shoots to come up still, but don’t want to leave it too late and find I can’t untangle the roots.

You should be ok to separate them into separate pots. I’m no expert though. I’ve just done all my seedlings.

@anon12657779 is right. Separate them carfully not ripping the roots

Thanks! So does yours! Ive tried in the past with food with no luck, i cant seem to keep the animals away. So this time i decided on flowers.

Not sure this will work but the idea is that if they get big enough in the egg boxes, they can get planted outside and the cardboard will just got down. But I had more plants than egg box spaces so I just spaced the rest out in flower pots. See how it goes!

Take those babies inside at night if it gets cold

I was going to keep them on my sunny windowsill a little longer and plant them out when they are a bit bigger. What do you think?

Just spent the last hour patching up my lawn with seed. So satisfying- assuming it grows properly now!
