How soon is too soon to get a sponsor? I’ve heard so many different opinions that I figured I would ask you good people what you all think. Any help is always greatly appreciated.

Find someone who has a couple years, or someone you click with, someone who has what you want. When you listen to them you hear you, it’s never to early, I waited for a long time. I just picked my sponsor up after like 9 months. Regardless keep hitting the meetings and listening and when you feel comfortable ask someone. You can even ask someone to be your temporary sponsor, which that never worked for me I just kept ghosting him.

Oh yeah, make sure they have a sponsor as well. Is what I’ve been told

Also make sure you don’t make my mistake and pick one of the opposite sex. It was innocent on my end, not on hers.

I was told that in NA thanks for the reminder. I could see how that might get someone in trouble seeing is both parties are very vulnerable.
I will take this into consideration for sure. Thanks for the help.
