Good literature?

So I’d really like to find some books to read or websites to look at regarding recovery and understanding addiction (particularly in combination with anxiety disorders/OCD, if possible), but having had a look on Amazon there is so much to choose from! I don’t know where to start.

Does anyone have any recommendations for non-spiritual literature that they’ve found particularly helpful?

Rational recovery by trimpey…helped me tons last time around

One option - although its a bit different - is to read Buddhist literature. It is all about craving and attachment. For me, I know that my drinking is always triggered by my craving for things - the approval of others, for example. Or the desire to connect with others.

I think I am the only person in the world who, instead of laughing when they watch Friends reruns, feels like taking a drink because he never had that kind of connection with a group of people.
