Avoid nicotine replacements as MUCH AS YOU CAN. The lesser there is the better.
And it’s difficult sure. But not impossible. One of the fellow mate here @Yoda-Stevie is also quitting nicotine.

Don’t give up. The worst will be over within weeks.
Goodluck.

Wish I could say I quit my 34 year dipping habit “cold turkey”. I’ve got nothing but respect for those who do. I tried and at about day 3-4, my brain literally quit working. Couldn’t complete a thought or task, and resorted nicotine lozenges to help. Started with the 4mgs, and observed the recommended plan to the letter. Down to a couple of 2mgs a day, and will “cold turkey” next week…

I found this app and it showed how much money I was saving and how much more healthier your body starts to progress as you quit smoking. My skin is so much healthier. I smell better. Taste buds are on point and I just have all this extra spending money for shopping!! It’s an awesome feeling. You just need to have major will power and control. Wish you the best!!

I put the cigarettes down by vaping, I’ve done this before but stupid me picked it back up years later, I went back to vaping as it’s the lesser of the evils compared to cigarettes, I started at 6mg, and I am down to 3mg,i hope to go down to 0 very soon, last time I got to 0 I eventually just stopped vaping because it was pointless and doing nothing for me, but I know people have other views about this, nicotine replacement, just giving you advice on what had helped me, I can’t remember the last time I smoked a cigarette, months and months ago…

Gave you real cigs ages ago and started vaping. I know it’s just replacing one with another. But the health benefits far outweigh lighting up.

Hope to one day stop all together but it’s just not the time. I admire anybody that can do it. To be my nicotine addiction far outweighs my alcohol addiction. Fucking addictions.
