Grateful for:
The opportunity to appreciate a day off
The opportunity to work where I do and learn to enjoy all the experiences that come with it
The opportunity to see every situation as an opportunity to learn

Today I’m thankful for:
Clean, crisp air and blue skies. Waking up to the sounds of birds singing. Sunshine on my face.
Slowly making progress on the projects around my property. Got a good start on my chicken coop.
An improved ability to soothe myself without altering my brain chemistry.

Today, I am grateful for my son, another day of sobriety, and another day of being ALIVE
Today I am grateful I have had 2 days sober. I am grateful for my kids, my health, a roof over my head and the fact that I am surrounded by love and support. That’s more than most people have and that alone should keep me from going back. Today it will anyways
Today I’m grateful for you lot!
Thanks for being here, and helping each other out
Today I’m thankful for:
Being able to face some difficult prospects without being crippled with fear and anxiety. I don’t feel like I have to cling to anything to stay afloat. I can be sad and tread water on my own, thank you very much.
The calm of knowing that one way or another I will come out the other aide of this feeling. There’s lessons to be had in persevering through discomfort.
Waking up to find it has rained and the day is washed clean. I’m blessed to have another blank slate and I can try again.
Today I am grateful to be alive. I am grateful to be able to provide for my son on my own. I am grateful to have the desire and awareness to seek sobriety.
My affirmation for the day:
It is now sage to see how wonderful I am!
I’m grateful for my guitar, good books, my drums, my girlfriend, my mom and her boyfriend. Able to walk, talk, see, work out, hear, eat good food, I’m not in prison, and I have money.
Today I’m greatful that I got motivated and positive, I’m greatful for my health and sobriety, and I’m greatful I took the day off to take care of myself. Off to a meeting to end the day right!
Grateful for:
My amazing little boy. He’s definitely the best choice I ever made.
My ability to support myself through honest work in service to other people and as a steward of nature.
My spouse. She drives me crazy. I don’t even know if we can make this marriage thing work. But she is a great mom and a tenacious person to have on my side. She has made an effort to understand my addiction and my recovery. She was the one who broke through and woke me up from fantasy land. She will forever have a place in my heart.
Grateful to be back with you guys here.
