Nicotine is a bitch. I stared at a vape ad at the gas pump too long and got to thinking some unhelpful thoughts. I dont want to have a compilsion again why are the hooks popping up now?! Maybe some fomo maybe some milestone malady. Tonight i will not vape

3 years free from the beast of nicotine today!! I swear this quit was tougher than booze. Random cravings still pop up outta nowhere but i dont want to go back. I swear i was vaping more than real breaths. It was insanity, my dependency and obcession. Just for today i wont smoke

So Monday was my 73rd birthday and my daughter treated me to two nights at Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Tampa. Monday was also the day I hit 17 months smoke free. Now imagine me walking through that casino and hitting an invisible wall of smoke. lol I was gagging and coughing and felt nauseous.
I told my daughter that I used to love that smell and it made me feel at home. Crazy, huh?
Funny fact. Yesterday we went outside to the heated pool and when we hit the fresh air I had a very rare urge for a smoke. Wall of smoke gagged me and fresh air made me crave for a second.
Good news though. I’m headed home today and I’m not suddenly rich but I am still…
