My cousin’s friend is in town so we are having a little party at the pad. Wanted to partake with them badly. Every time substances came out I jammed out to the stereo and played with the dogs instead while reminding myself how great I feel being sober and how badly I feel mentally and physically when I’m not. Proud of myself for being able to hang out and have a good time without any substances! Hope everyone else is doing well and staying strong!!

Well done!!! That must feel like such an achievement this morning, I’m only a few days but I’m dreading the first time being around people getting on it.

Thanks you guys! Tonight I’m going through the same thing again but it’s much harder because I have work in the morning and they dont. I’ve been trying to catch some z’s for almost 3 hours but their going hard while I’m trying to sleep 
I can hear all the activities they are doing rn… Ugh it’s so hard to be sober around party settings guys…
