Been under a lot of stress on trying to find work no luck so far. Been having very strong cravings of alcohol. Been trying to stay busy to get my mind off of it but nothings working. Pls help talk to me to distract me!
Alcohol is only going to compound your problems. Its not an escape, it’s an added stresser. Take a little time to breathe. Things will get better. But, not if you pick up the bottle.
I keep telling myself if I get a drink it’s only going to get worse and I’m just going to regret it later. It’s not worth the pain!

Then you’re already smarter than your addict brain wants you to think you are. Go through Mantras. Listen to recovery music. Exercise. Positive thoughts go a long way towards improving things. I know it’s difficult to stay positive, but you can do this.
I worked out two times today. Extreme cardio!
