A short walk yesterday to see a 70 metre tall chalk carving on the side of a hill.

Unfortunately you cant see chalk carvings, when they are covered in snow.

Not my finest hour

Love all the photos peeps. None of my own to add yet, but I am hoping to have some in a few months time on my 20 year quest to hike the AT in Mass., VT. and N.H.

Hike through the port of Amsterdam, ending up in Ruigoord, a village saved from annihilation by a bunch of artistic squatters in the seventies. Now an interesting little enclave in the middle of industry and commerce.

Got my hike on after the meeting at the Malibu Bluffs this morning

Headed down to the waves.
Good thing I brought my poles. Saved my ass at least once.

And back up through the burn. At least if there’s any rattlesnakes I’ll be able to see them :flushed:
